Our badge has been added to our cartridge images to discourage the download/saving of our work. Our cartridge labels take up a lot of our time to create, and as this is just a hobby website, time is precious. We are not claiming any copyright for the "USED" artwork, we are only trying to protect the time that has been taken in creating these labels.
The images displayed on our website are of low quality, however your cartridge labels will be printed on high quality vinyl and will NOT have the badge or "created by" statement on them. Our badge is placed on random parts of the cartridge label on the website only. Our replacement cartridge labels will also not have any text added such as our website name unlike the printed box covers. We add it to the box covers so that they are not mistaken for the original game box cover.
As sorting out the printing of the manuals is taking quite some time as some have to be totally re-written, we thought that we would just offer them for you to download and read when needed. There will be a download tab on the product page with a download button. These manuals are in PDF format so they can be read and downloaded/saved if wanted.
This is something that we can not answer. This is a hobby website born out of our love for the old Mega Drive and the lack of replacement covers and labels. We also know that the game manual is an important part of completing a game box but they often come without. We do intend to reprint game manuals however the manuals themselves are PDF format and most are not in good printable quality.
We have to re-write the whole manual, during which we strip all other languages leaving just English, re-position any images, re-design the cover then make sure it all lines up before a test print. All this takes so much time and being a hobby site, time is not always on our side. Manuals are something that we would love to get going but at the moment we just don't have the time.
UPDATE 09/2026: We have taken the decision to not go forward with the printing of manuals for the foreseeable future.
The easiest way that we have found to remove the old label is by heating it up with a hair dryer. This then softens the glue on the back of the label making it easier to remove. If there is still abit of sticky residue left after removing the label just remove this with some sticky stuff remover and a paper towel.
Rub a small amount of sticky stuff remover on the cartridge and leave for a couple of minutes then wipe of with kitchen or toilet roll. If you don't have a hair dryer, try removing the out layer of the label which is the picture, this will leave the white part of the label with the glue. Drop a few drops of sticky stuff remover on this then leave to soak for a few minutes, then gently just scratch this off and wipe clean.
Make sure your cartridge is clean and dry before placing on your new label. Start in the bottom left corner and slowly match up the label with the bottom and left side of the indent and keep going slowly and pressing down firm until the label is on, removing any air bubbles.
Shipping prices will change inline with Royal Mail. The checkout will always be updated with the current prices.
These costs are subject to change as Royal Mail change their prices. At the moment, April 25, they start from £3.45 for 2nd class and £4.95 for 1st class signed for. Your total postage cost is based on the weight of your cart and will be automatically added at checkout.
Royal Mail tracked 24 and 48 has been added to the checkout as most of our orders are small (large letter). Now you can choose from Royal Mail Signed For or Royal Mail tracked 24 or 48. When choosing one of these postage options please ensure that your order is under 94g. If after receiving your order we see that not enough postage has been applied, we will ask you to pay the difference via your chosen payment method. If you do not pay the difference, we will go ahead and cancel your order and refund.
Payments are accepted through Stripe, Paypal and Direct bank transfer, (DBT). Please note that there is a fee of 3% for direct bank transfer (DBT) payments. This fee will be applied at the checkout. If payment for an order that you have placed with us has not been received within 3 working days your order will be automatically cancelled and you will have to re-order. Your order will not dispatch until payment has been received in full.
Stripe now accepts all common payments including Apple Pay and Amazon Payments. When checking out with Stripe, you will notice that checkout is for Doodylou, this is because Doodylou is our registered trademark.
These letters just tell you what region the manual is for.
The first part is just the code for the manual, this will start with # and end with /M.
The next part in brackets is the region, for example: (G) is Genesis, (MD) is Mega Drive, (F) is French, (JP) is Japan, (E) is Europe.
Update: The product code has now been replaced with the product name.
To print our game box covers we always use single sided glossy paper, 48lb / 180 grams. Our manuals are created using double sided glossy paper, 32 lb / 120 grams. For the cartridge labels we offer two types of paper of finish, glossy or matte vinyl, both of which are strong and waterproof. We will state what paper we are currently using at the top of the box covers page.
Please note that our game cover prints are reproduced from scans of original artwork so may have slight marks or signs of wear. We sometimes try to touch up small blemishes on the scans but we never fully restore the cover. Any such blemishes can be seen on the product page and your cover will still be produced using a high quality print.
If you are not happy with the above information then please do not place an order with us. All of our covers will have our name printed somewhere on the reverse of the cover, this is to stop them from being mistaken as original covers which they are not. Cartridge labels will not have any name printed on them as they are not made from a scan of an original label.
